DATASHEET: POLAR STRENGTH MELT AWAY DEICING CRYSTALS

Product Description

Polar Strength Melt Away is a premium product suitable for roads, sidewalks, parking lots, driveways, and other deicing applications. The product is fast acting with a lower melting point. Application instructions and precautions are located on the back side of the bag.

Process

Rock salt is thoroughly mixed with calcium chloride and potassium chloride to produce a uniform product.

Directions for use

Sprinkle uniformly on snow or ice at the rate of 1 to 4 pounds per 500 square feet. Do not use on concrete less than one year old. Repeated use over extended time may cause scaling of poor quality concrete that is cracked or porous, precast concrete steps, masonry, or exposed aggregate. Removal of product as slush is formed reduces this effect. See bag label for further information.

Package

This product is available from the Hockley, Texas plant in weather-resistant 25 pound and 50 pound heat sealed bags. The bags have the EASY Entry system. The 25 pound bag has a soft handle.
