Employees, family and friends respond to their own family and friends defending our way of life in Iraq.

The following note is representative of the many notes and letters sent along with the boxes of items gathered by family and friends of United States soldiers fighting in Iraq.

To Our Dear Fellow American, Ray Goins;

“One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All”. Those words, as said by all who have pledged their allegiance to the United States of America, would fade into nothing if we did not have Americans like you defending our freedoms. Those few words say so much about who we are and why we are putting our nation at risk. You, who are responsible for defending those freedoms, are blessed with the same honor and respect as all of those who have defended those freedoms before you. It is with our honor and respect for you that we present you with these special treats. While we wish you were here, we thank you for being there.

Sincerely,

Employees of Texas United Corporation who work with your Aunt Shalena
